30bxCharlotte does research on edible insects. She is interested in the potential for insects as food to address the interconnected problems of environmental degradation, threats to public health, and socio-economic inequality. She is currently a Research Associate at the Department of Population Health, University of Oxford, and a PhD candidate with the Conservation Science group, Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge. Her work to date on the topic of edible insects includes field-based research in DRC, Japan and Zimbabwe.
