This years International Congress of Entomology will have the theme "Entomology without Borders", and will mark the 100 year anniversary of the Congress. It will be the 25th time it is held, and it will take place in Orlando, Florida.

The 6 day congress is packed with events, five of which will have to do with entomophagy. These are:

Monday: An emerging food supply: Edible insects

Tuesday: Industrialization of insects as a food ingredient & Insects and the global human experience

Wednesday: Weaving your web: Science communication and social media for insect scientists

Thursday: Sericigenous insects and 3 F's: Fibre, (Human) Food and Feed - Global status and future role in resolving global challenges.
