Like the last one, with less rain :)
Because one Bug Eating Festival isn't enough (and because our first event was threatened by rain) we're bringing it back around for another fun evening of education and insect eating. Open to the public and free for kids, come out to in.gredients on Manor on Wednesday night, July 13, for your chance to learn about insects as a food for people, food for our pets and feed for our livestock. Try local products made with insects, catch a cooking demonstration from a local chef, learn about other Austin nonprofits and enjoy fun kids activities!
Free for children and students. The suggested $10 donation for adults can be purchased at the door with cash, or a donation on our crowdfunding campaign of $10 or more will also get you in:https://www.barnraiser.us/projects/little-herds-edible-insects-education-for-a-better-tomorrow (We also have a ticket option on the BarnRaiser page as a reward)
We'll also have our popular Ento Raffle with your choice of buggy prizes donated by supporting businesses, all benefiting Little Herds and Slow Food Austin delegates to this year's Salone Del Gusto conference.
Here's a video of a previous year's event: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ecs7HXw_CJ4
Can't wait to see y'all there!
